The USA-Built Raleigh Technium Olympian by Yellow Jersey
Raleigh, starting in the middle 1980s, designed and built cold-process "Technium" aluminum frames with steel lugs at Kent ( Seattle) Washington. These rocked! The Technium process yeilded a low-labor-input frame that was light, good-looking and dependable which could be competitively assembled in the USA to compete with imported products at a fair price Here's one: Of course Raleigh management killed the project. But they were nice!
