New Year's Ride

Cold but as they say 'seasonal'.
Which means 'cold'.
We awakened at nearly the crack of noon
to a grey but rideable 25 degrees F and a damp sharp west wind!
Despite the winds, under dreary clouds but rideable conditions, we set off!
apres-course refreshments featured some abergut (shot of brandy with some schnapps on top) in loving memory of Kim Fellinger, one of many riders no longer with us
A splendid outing was enjoyed by all

A very typical New Year's in Wisconsin
1 January 2023:
I enjoyed a nice solo ride in pleasant
35 degree sun with no wind.
